Not enough hours, Happy Mom, and Tequila Tacos

How is it already Friday?  Does anyone else feel like the days are just too short?  I think if I could have about 4-5 extra hours a day, I’d be in much better shape.  Not only would I get all my work done, but I just might be able to sit down for an hour at night.  These days sitting is not happening! Well…I’m sitting now writing this, but I mean sitting and maybe watching TV…or reading a book.  A friend told me I should start watching “Stranger Things” on Netflix.  And when this friend tells me I should do something, I listen!  But I can’t for the life of…

Wisdom Teeth & Coconut Vanilla Chia Seed Pudding

Happy Wednesday!  Who doesn’t love hump day?  So, I’m pretty excited I have time this week to blog twice.  But, I have to admit…it’s because I’ve been home a lot more due to my wisdom tooth removal…LOL!  Being stuck at home allows you to get so much done!  I’m healing…but it’s taking longer than I planned.  I guess I should have listed to the doctor when they told me I wouldn’t be working out for a week after.  I didn’t believe them.  I sometimes think I’m indestructible.  Surgery on Friday to me meant back to workouts on Monday.  NOPE!  I don’t think I’ll me making it at all this week.…

No more wisdom, Poop, & Grilled Chicken Skewers w/Thai “Peanut” Sauce

It’s Friday!!!!  It’s supposed to be Fun Friday, right?  Well…it’s kind of not today.  Actually, I don’t think it’ll be fun at all.  This morning, I’m heading in to get my 3 wisdom teeth removed (sigh).  This is NOT fun.  But…it needs to be done, so here I go.  Let’s look at the bright side.  I’ll be drugged up, forced to sleep, then will have to be waited on hand and foot the rest of the day.  It can’t be that bad, right?  We will see.  You know what’s even worse than getting your teeth pulled?  It’s getting your teeth pulled on your favorite day at Crossfit.  I hate that…

Yay it’s Friday!, I’m a Hot Mess, Just Let Me Chat, Birthday Parties, Creamy Roasted Pepper & Tomato Soup

You have no idea how happy I am that it’s Friday!!!  This has been the week from hell. Ok…it could’ve been worse. But it was not a great week. Actually the past few weeks, I’ve felt like I’m running on fast forward. But you know what?  It’s OK!  You know why?  Apparently Mercury is in retrograde right now. Sooooo….it’s not ME!  Lol. I have an excuse!!  No wonder I’ve been a hot mess ?.  Bring on the Paleo Wine!!! But seriously…hot mess doesn’t even describe it. If you follow me on FB and IG, you all may think I’ve got my shit together. But I don’t. Maybe sometimes, but it’s…

Paleo Wine, Wine Disaster, Quote of the Summer, Bad Eating, Life Lessons & Ginger Coconut Crusted Mahi Mahi

Happy Friday!!!  I like to call it Fun Friday. Or Freshy Friday. Or even Fabulous Friday?  I love Fridays. My favorite part of Friday’s is heading to Crossfit. The Friday vibe is always extra positive and happy. Ok…lets get right to the important part of the blog. The Paleo Wine!  Yup…you all want to be all healthy, but you also love your cocktails and wine, right?  I knew it. Trust me. I did (or d0), too. Back in my senior year of college, my husband (Scott) and I took a wine tasting class. We were both graduating from the business school at UNH and it was a class for full…

First Blog Post, Back to School, & Caramelized Onion and Kale Frittata

Ok!  So, here I am!  First real blog post.  Now what?  LOL.  I’ve been wanting to start blogging all summer, but what has been pushing me off is….what the heck am I going to write about?  Sometimes it just comes out naturally, but this summer it just wasn’t.  Maybe because I was out of my regular routine of everything….food, cooking, exercise…literally everything.  We traveled every weekend to Cape Cod, so I was packing and unpacking all the time.  I’m not complaining, by the way.  I LOVE summer.  I love having the kids home, I love having no crazy schedules, I love not being a taxi driver, and what I really…
