Nothing Better Than Family Time, Advanced Allergy Therapeutics, Communicating With Jasper, Everything Happens For A Reason, Fudgy Brownies

Happy Friday!  Blog day…yay!  Oh boy….what do I want to talk about first from this past week?  Lots happened…good and bad.  But, I have to say, it was a pretty emotionally exhausting week.  I’ll get into it a bit, but probably not too many details.  First off…last weekend.  Patriots won the superbowl!  How about that game?  We started off at a friends house, but since it seemed like a flop, we left around 9:30 because the kids had school the next day, Scott had to get up early and it just didn’t seem worth staying up.  So, we got home, unpacked our stuff and headed up to bed.  Scott threw…

Healthy Food Tastes Good, Advanced Allergy Therapeutics, It’s Good to Get Lost in a Hospital, OOTW, & Bacon Wrapped Garlic & Herb Meatloaf

Happy FriYAY!!!  We made it!  Another week down.  I had a pretty good week, actually.  I can’t complain.  Last weekend we had some friends over to watch the Patriots game.  It’s always a good evening when they win, but the company helps 😉  Since Scott and I were in the middle of a Shred10, we made sure we had plenty of compliant game foods.  Buffalo wings, my brother made brisket, ribs…it felt like a meat fest! LOL!  I also made veggies with homemade ranch dressing, paleo artichoke dip with carrots for dipping, shrimp, and a paleo coleslaw made with my homemade mayo.  I, of course, had some fruit for dessert.…

I Miss My Hunny, Advanced Allergy Therapeutics, OOTW, & Honey Lemon Chicken w/Asparagus

Happy Fridayyyyyyy!!!!  It’s been such a long week.  And now it’s SOOOOOOO COLD!  Brrrrrr….  It’s been a long week mostly because my hubby has been in London since Sunday 🙁  But…he’s coming home today and I can’t wait!  I miss him.  And it’s tough having him gone all week.  Even though he’s been traveling for like…ever…I still hate when he’s gone.  I don’t sleep well.  I fall asleep ok, but I can’t stay asleep.  I wake up almost every hour.  Unbroken sleep is the worst!  I mentioned last week that this month my goal was to get 7 hours of sleep each night.  Well, that kind of went downhill this…

Blank Mind, Pay Attention, Stranger Things, & Coconut Cassava Chicken Fingers w/Honey Mustard Sauce

So, it’s Friday….I’m sitting here and I  have to say…my mind is blank this week.  It’s been quite a week for reasons I can’t explain right now, but my focus this week was not on food and coming up with new recipes for the blog.  The good news is…I’ve been eating fantastic because last weekend I prepped sooooo much food!  I’m also doing a 10-day shred with a big group of clients and have been so excited about it.  They are on day 4 today and I’m happy I decided to join them.  It’s kept me focused on not eating crap….especially Halloween candy!  Oh, I ate plenty of halloween candy…

Paleo Wine, Wine Disaster, Quote of the Summer, Bad Eating, Life Lessons & Ginger Coconut Crusted Mahi Mahi

Happy Friday!!!  I like to call it Fun Friday. Or Freshy Friday. Or even Fabulous Friday?  I love Fridays. My favorite part of Friday’s is heading to Crossfit. The Friday vibe is always extra positive and happy. Ok…lets get right to the important part of the blog. The Paleo Wine!  Yup…you all want to be all healthy, but you also love your cocktails and wine, right?  I knew it. Trust me. I did (or d0), too. Back in my senior year of college, my husband (Scott) and I took a wine tasting class. We were both graduating from the business school at UNH and it was a class for full…

First Blog Post, Back to School, & Caramelized Onion and Kale Frittata

Ok!  So, here I am!  First real blog post.  Now what?  LOL.  I’ve been wanting to start blogging all summer, but what has been pushing me off is….what the heck am I going to write about?  Sometimes it just comes out naturally, but this summer it just wasn’t.  Maybe because I was out of my regular routine of everything….food, cooking, exercise…literally everything.  We traveled every weekend to Cape Cod, so I was packing and unpacking all the time.  I’m not complaining, by the way.  I LOVE summer.  I love having the kids home, I love having no crazy schedules, I love not being a taxi driver, and what I really…
