I Still Need To Rest, Stop The E-Mail Madness, Intuitive Readings, Aerial Yoga, Crossfit Opens & Easy Greek Chicken w/Tzatziki

Happy Monday!  Yup…It’s school vacation and I’m three days late on this blog!  Actually, I wrote most of it on time, then ran out of time and didn’t get it out.   So, I’m thinking I may need to change the day I write and post my blog.  Why?  Well, I typically start writing on Thursday night, then finish off and post on Friday morning. But….end of the week is not only hectic, but on Thursday nights, I just want to sit and relax!  Remember I’ve talked about that sit relax thing I wanted to work on this year?  IT HASN’T HAPPENED YET!!!  So, I need to find the time. And…

Kyle’s Birthday Hike, Paleo Wine, Acupuncture, Don’t Mess With My Kids, Hugs, OOTW, & Paleo Horseradish Cream Sauce

It’s FRIYAY!!!!  I know…I’m always excited for Friday.  But there’s always a different reason for being excited for Fridays.  This week, I’m excited to see my hubby!  Yes…he’s traveled a lot this week and I feel like I haven’t seen him since last weekend, so I’m excited for some family time and relaxation.  Well…we don’t have too much relaxation time coming up, but at least we will be in the same house and we get to workout together today and tomorrow, which is always fun.  I’m excited to trash talk with him at the gym…LOL!  Want to talk about my week? Ok…. It had it’s ups and downs, like most…

Blank Mind, Pay Attention, Stranger Things, & Coconut Cassava Chicken Fingers w/Honey Mustard Sauce

So, it’s Friday….I’m sitting here and I  have to say…my mind is blank this week.  It’s been quite a week for reasons I can’t explain right now, but my focus this week was not on food and coming up with new recipes for the blog.  The good news is…I’ve been eating fantastic because last weekend I prepped sooooo much food!  I’m also doing a 10-day shred with a big group of clients and have been so excited about it.  They are on day 4 today and I’m happy I decided to join them.  It’s kept me focused on not eating crap….especially Halloween candy!  Oh, I ate plenty of halloween candy…

Roasted or Rotisserie Chicken & Homemade Bone Broth

Cold and flu season is upon us!  That means we need to start to think about ways we can up our immune system and stay healthy!  I’m sure a ton of you have read about bone broth.  You can now buy good quality bone broth online, but why buy it when you can make it?  You may think it’s hard, but trust me…it’s not.  On many Sunday’s my husband, Scott, and I will roast up a full chicken…or 2….or make them on the grill. We LOVE it! Not only do we have chicken for the week (to use for lunches and emergency meals), but we always make a batch of…

No more wisdom, Poop, & Grilled Chicken Skewers w/Thai “Peanut” Sauce

It’s Friday!!!!  It’s supposed to be Fun Friday, right?  Well…it’s kind of not today.  Actually, I don’t think it’ll be fun at all.  This morning, I’m heading in to get my 3 wisdom teeth removed (sigh).  This is NOT fun.  But…it needs to be done, so here I go.  Let’s look at the bright side.  I’ll be drugged up, forced to sleep, then will have to be waited on hand and foot the rest of the day.  It can’t be that bad, right?  We will see.  You know what’s even worse than getting your teeth pulled?  It’s getting your teeth pulled on your favorite day at Crossfit.  I hate that…

The Friday vibe is always extra positive and happy. Ok…lets get right to the important part of the blog. The Paleo Wine!  Yup…you all want to be all healthy, but you also love your cocktails and wine, right?  I knew it. Trust me. I did (or d0), too. Back in my senior year of college, my husband (Scott) and I took a wine tasting class. We were both graduating from the business school at UNH and it was a class for full…
